About us
Giuliano Mazzuoli
The 3.6.5 S.r.l. company was founded by Giuliano Mazzuoli and his sons Emiliano and Tommaso in 2005.
The origins of the company date back to 1953, the year in which Angelo Mazzuoli, Giuliano's father, started the Mazzuoli typography and produced notepads and address books for the Florentine leather industry.
In the 1970s Giuliano shifts the attention of the company's production towards the world of graphics and printing, collaborating with important brands from fashion, interior design, and industrial design.
These experiences arouse in Giuliano the wish to launch his own brand and in 1993 he creates the "3.6.5 Planner", a planner with a "turn-page" system that has a lot of space for notes. In 1997 the brand Stifflex is created.
Stifflex is an innovative system that has a hard (stiff) but flexible cover. Mazzuoli's products are so successful that prestigious clients begin to contact the 3.6.5. S.r.l. including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) of New York.
With his sons entering the company, the activity is expanded by completely personalizing Stifflex notebooks and planners and initiating collaborations with important national and international brands.
