Giuliano Mazzuoli

The company 3.6.5 S.r.l. was founded by Giuliano Mazzuoli and his sons Emiliano and Tommaso in 2005.

The company’s origins date back to 1953, when Angelo Mazzuoli, Giuliano’s father, launched the Mazzuoli printing house and began producing notepads and address books for the Florentine leather industry.

In the 1970s, Giuliano shifted the company’s focus toward the world of graphic design and printing, collaborating with leading brands in fashion, interior design, and industrial design.

These experiences inspired Giuliano to launch his own brand, and in 1993 he created the “3.6.5 Planner,” a planner with a “turn-page” system that offers ample space for notes. In 1997, the Stifflex brand was born.

Stifflex is an innovative system characterized by a hard (stiff) yet flexible cover. Mazzuoli’s products proved so successful that prestigious clients began contacting 3.6.5. S.r.l., including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

With the children joining the company, the business expanded thanks to the full customization of Stifflex notebooks and planners and the launch of collaborations with major national and international brands.
